Coronation Street has cast an actor with a familiar surname for fans of the ITV soap, who will make her debut next week. Rosie Fleeshman, the sister of former Corrie actor Richard Fleeshman, has joined the soap for a guest stint.
Next week's cast list shows Rosie listed as a psychologist, so her role will likely tie in with Sam Blakeman's mental health crisis storyline.
Rosie's big brother Richard played the role of Craig Harris on the cobbles from 2002 to 2006, starting when he was just 12 years old.

Craig is mostly remembered for his relationship with Rosie Webster (Helen Flanagan), with the young lovers becoming Wetherfield's answer to Romeo and Juliet, albeit while dressed as goths.
But Richard wasn't the first member of his family to step onto the cobbles as mum, actress Sue Jenkins, played Gloria Todd from 1985 to 1988.

Dad David Fleeshman has also appeared in the soap in various small roles over the past few decades. The family also having another acting daughter, Emily, who has yet to appear on Corrie.
Since leaving Coronation Street Richard has gone on to become a West End star, appearing in Legally Blonde, Ghost: The Musical and earning an Olivier award nomination for his role in the revival of Stephen Sondheim's Company.

The actor welcomed his first child, a daughter, in 2024, with partner Celinde Schoenmaker. The couple married in April of this year.
Meanwhile, next week Corrie fans will see Sam in hospital following Carla Connor-Swain's realisation that the schoolboy is suffering from psychosis.
However Sam's father Nick Tilsley will struggle to deal with his son's condition as he searches for someone to blame.
Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
