Coronation Street star Ben Price has opened up about the special role he played in Jack P Shepherd's wedding.

The actor, who plays Nick Tilsley on the ITV soap, was a groomsman for his on-screen brother when he tied the knot with long-term partner Hanni Treweek in July.

The couple, who began dating in 2017, got married at Manchester Cathedral with several of Shepherd's Corrie co-stars in attendance, including his on-screen sister and mother, Tina O'Brien and Helen Worth.

Price, who has played Nick since 2009, spoke about Shepherd's big day on the On the Sofa podcast, which he hosts alongside the David Platt actor and former Corrie star Colson Smith.

"I think, before we go to a break, there's just one thing I think we've got to say - what an amazing day it was," recalled Price. "How in love you both were, how everyone who was there from work said, 'what a great wedding.'
