Former Coronation Street star Nicola Thorp has revealed that she has married her actor partner Nikesh Patel.
Thorp, who played Nicola Rubinstein from 2017-19, shared the news that she and Patel tied the knot in Blackpool over the weekend during a "magical" celebration.
The actor shared a beautiful highlight reel of the couple's wedding day on Instagram, with clips including guests dancing and playing the piano, drummers walking down the pier and Thorp walking towards her new husband.

"This weekend, we got married in the same place that race riots broke out three weeks ago," she wrote alongside the post. "Two hearts, two families, two cultures: united, celebrated and loved.
"Love wins ... Thank you to all our friends and family for making it so magical".

Thorp and Patel got together in 2021 and revealed their engagement in January 2023. They welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, in January this year.

Thorp's Corrie character, Nicola, was revealed to be the long-lost daughter of serial killer Pat Phelan, while she also had a son, Zack, with Gary Windass following a one-night stand. She later moved to Bristol with Zack.
Patel, meanwhile, has starred in Four Weddings and a Funeral, Starstruck and London Has Fallen.
