Coronation Street has confirmed Daniel and Daisy's wedding date following a Christmas proposal.
The couple finally got engaged on Corrie earlier this week, with a little help from Ken Barlow and Jenny Connor on a makeshift proposal from Daniel after his original plan was derailed.
Upcoming episodes will see Daisy fall in love with a wedding venue that's way above her budget and the owners agreeing to rent it for half-price if she has her ceremony the second Monday in May.
After insisting she wants to keep the May date, Daisy sets off to a top DJ's gig in hopes of convincing him to perform at her and Daniel's wedding.

Daisy is upset when Daniel shares his reservations about tying the knot so soon, leading her to flirt with the DJ by putting her mobile number into his phone and then posting photos of them together.
Daniel is determined to have a private chat with Daisy later in the week, so she expects an argument.
Instead, Daniel goes over the brochure for their wedding venue and announces he's booked off work for the date she'd picked.

Trouble arises when Daisy receives a flower bouquet from the DJ. Since Daisy is aware of Daniel's disapproval of using social media to get what she wants, Daisy immediately hides the card.
Daisy then hands the flowers over to Daniel to make it seem like she'd bought them for him instead. Will Daniel catch her out over the white lie?
