Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon hints at baby's due date

Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has given fans a hint at her baby's potential due date in a new Instagram post.

The actress, who played Bethany Platt on Coronation Street, posted a snap of her most recent baby scan to her Instagram Stories (here via The Sun) and captioned it: "Five weeks left."

Fallon is expecting the baby with her boyfriend, footballer Ryan Ledson, who plays for Preston North End. Ledson himself posted a snap of one of the baby's scans 13 weeks ago, writing: "Mum & Dad to be, can’t wait for next year."

Around the same time, Fallon posted a picture of her holding her baby bump, writing: "Can’t remember if I mentioned that there’s a literal baby in there or not?"

Earlier this month, Fallon revealed that the baby is a boy and joked that she always knew it was going to be so. "The night before I said to Ryan, 'I bet you £500 it's going to be a boy.' He still hasn't sent me the money!" Fallon said.

Fallon announced that she and Ledson were expecting in September this year and recalled how the news followed the traumatic experience of a miscarriage earlier this year.

"I had pregnancy symptoms and I was feeling really unwell and when they were doing all these scans my symptoms were getting worse and worse and there were no signs I had had a miscarriage, so that made it more of a shock," Fallon said.

"We just assumed everything was going to be fine. Then after a week when they'd done the blood tests and other tests I went back and they said that I had miscarried."

Now, though, Fallon and Ledson are looking forward to the birth of their baby boy, which will be the first child for both of them, sometime in late January.
