Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street has shared a sneak peek at Martha Fraser's surprise comeback to the soap after 13 years.

Played once again by Stephanie Beacham, the character is about to make a shock return to Weatherfield in an upcoming storyline.

From the looks of it, it seems that another love triangle is in store for Martha, who had an infamous affair with Ken Barlow (Bill Roache) while he was still married to Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride).

Later on, Ken and Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) suggest that it would be better to have Nigel's friend to coach Mary rather than replace her as she'd be upset to lose the role. Little does Ken know that the actress Nigel is talking about is none other than his ex, Martha.

In the community centre, Nigel introduces his friend to the group, with Ken finally realising it's Martha. How will he react coming face to face with her after all those years? Is she still interested in him?

To find out whether Ken's relationship with Wendy will survive this unexpected storm, viewers can tune in on ITV1 on November 23.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on the ITV Hub.
