Coronation Street saw a surprise intervention for Summer Spellman tonight (November 4), following her plan to keep her pregnancy a secret.

Friday's episode saw Summer struggle with morning sickness, leading to suspicion from Billy.

At the garage, Aaron warned Summer that she wouldn't be able to hide the pregnancy for much longer, especially with Billy's growing concerns. Despite disagreeing with the adoption plan, he revealed he'd joined a mum's forum to find advice for morning sickness and handed Summer a ginger biscuit which he thought might help.

Back at home, Billy witnessed Summer throw up in the sink and questioned if she'd had a bulimia relapse. Summer however insisted that it's just a stomach bug and that she'll be fine in a few days.

However, Billy's concerns were far from over, especially after bumping into Amy – who revealed she saw Summer put the biscuit from Aaron in her pocket.

The news proved too much for Billy, who decided to stage a surprise intervention for Summer with the help of her two other dads.

Later, Summer confronted Amy about her conversation with Billy, accusing everyone of watching over her. However, after the smell of bacon triggered Summer's sickness, Amy commented that she's still behaving like she's pregnant, with Aaron's facial expression giving the couple's secret away.

Summer explained her situation to Amy, insisting that Billy couldn't find out as he’ll report them to the police. Her pleas led to Amy forming a plan: they could all move in together.

Back at home, Summer revealed her plans to an upset Billy, who questioned if she's moving out because of the intervention before reluctantly allowing her to go.

"It'll buy us some time but it's not a solution," Summer told Aaron after Billy left.

"We need to find a way to hide this for six months."
