Coronation Street spoilers follow.

There are building dramas on the way in Coronation Street in scenes to air next week, and they get so serious that Adam decides he needs to issue a stern and deadly threat.

Daniel, who has recently returned to the cobbles after a break, and Daisy make the move to number 1 to live with Ken, but the builder, Arnie, soon delivers the bad news that the roof condition is far worse than it was initially thought to be.

And not only that, but now they'll need scaffolding up the back of the house too as the work needed is so involved.

Tracy then puts her foot down with Daniel and tells him that he needs to make sure that the portaloo is removed as soon as possible.

And while it is taken away quickly, it soon leads to another problem when Arnie refuses to fix the toilet unless they pay him cash upfront – which is not something they are able to do.

Daniel does his best to try and make Arnie see reason, but it gets him nowhere and he insists that no work will be done to fix it until he has been paid.

Adam decides to have a word himself, and he does not go easy on Arnie by advising him that he may want to think twice about crossing Tracy as she has been to prison for murder.

Will Adam’s harsh threat do the trick, or has he just managed to make things worse? And what will Tracy say if she finds out what he has done?

Longtime Coronation Street viewers will remember that it was the murder of Charlie Stubbs that saw Tracy sent down back in 2007.

While Tracy did indeed commit the crime, she was released after three years due to a technicality in 2010, but it seems her crime has not been forgotten.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
