Coronation Street's Tim Metcalfe and Aggie Bailey's secret friendship is set to be exposed next week.
Tim has been having intimacy issues with his wife Sally over the last few months, following a major surgery. He's confided in Aggie, a healthcare worker, and she's been giving him practical and emotional support to help him get things back on track with Sally.
This week's episodes have seen Aggie help Tim buy Sally a necklace for their anniversary, and as a thank you, Tim bought Aggie a necklace as well.

Following up on this, next week's episodes will see Sally and Tim plan a night at the Bistro to continue their anniversary celebrations.

Meanwhile, Aggie tells Ed that the necklace she's been wearing is an old one she found, and tells Tim not to contradict the story.
Later in the week, Tim and Sally do a disco aerobics course. Following that, they share a laugh and a kiss, before having sex for the first time in months. The pair are elated and head to the Bistro, where Ed asks them to share a table with himself and Aggie.

Tim can see that Aggie looks puzzled by the level of flirtation going on between him and Sally, and texts Aggie an update about their sex life... but sends it to Sally instead!
