Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street has hinted that a happy ending is on the horizon for Abi Webster's storyline with her baby son Alfie.
Abi has spent the past few months fighting for custody of her son, facing many obstacles along the way.
Recently, a court ruled that Abi could help to raise Alfie under supervision from a foster carer.
Returning character Wendy Papadopoulos was appointed as Alfie's foster carer, who Abi needs to impress in an ongoing assessment process.

What to Read Next
This week's episodes see Abi left disappointed when she discovers that Wendy has made a number of critical observations about her, but by the time next week arrives, things are looking much brighter.
Abi's husband Kevin sets to work on tidying the house, as she's due to pay a visit back home with Alfie.
Kevin has to tell his son Jack that he doesn't have any time to help him with his leavers' presentation speech. Jack is disappointed and can't help feeling left out.
Later, Abi and Alfie visit Kevin and Jack at Number 13 as planned.

Abi shares the big news that, if everything goes to plan, they'll be able to move back in permanently next week.
Kevin is filled with emotion at the thought that his family is getting back on track.
Sally Carman, who plays Abi, had previously hinted to Digital Spy that her character's story would have an uplifting ending.
Speaking to us on the red carpet at the British Soap Awards, Sally explained: "The brilliant thing about the producers is that unless you actually specifically ask [what's coming up], they don't tell you.
"I never ask because I can't hold my own water, so the less I know, the better! Or else I'd just be telling you everything – which might be good for you, not so good for me.
"So I actually don't know, but I know that it's gone quite quiet script-wise, so I'm guessing that she's going to be happy for a bit. Which suits me fine!"
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
