Coronation Street's Imran Habeeb makes a divisive move next week as he plans a new way to help Kelly Neelan.
Imran (Charlie de Melo) has agreed to represent Kelly at her upcoming trial, but with the case getting closer, emotions are starting to run high on the cobbles.
Kelly (Millie Gibson) and Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) have both been charged with murder after their involvement in Seb Franklin's fatal attack.
The teens have given conflicting versions of events over what happened that night, with each blaming the other for Seb's death.

In next week's episodes, Imran continues to worry about Kelly's chances of avoiding a prison sentence, as he can't afford the experts needed to help clear her name.
Imran feels even worse when his ex-wife Sabeen (Zora Bishop) pays a visit to him on the Street.
Sabeen reveals that she's a barrister on Corey's large defence team. Confident that the jury will believe Corey's claims, Sabeen tells Imran that he doesn't stand a chance of securing Kelly's acquittal.
Later in the week, there's another development in Corey's favour when word spreads that local footballing hero Tommy Orpington has been lined up as a character witness for him.

Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) is disappointed to learn that Tommy is backing Corey, so he makes some critical comments on a fansite dedicated to the footballer.
This soon causes trouble as Corey's identity is supposed to be legally protected, but has now leaked online.
Seb's mum Abi (Sally Carman) is devastated when she realises that this could jeopardise the entire trial.
After the police call to speak to Jack about his online posts, Abi accuses Imran of using Jack's mistake to delay the trial.

Toyah (Georgia Taylor) is shocked when Imran admits that this is exactly what he's doing.
Imran warns that, no matter how unpopular it makes him on the Street, he'll stop at nothing to win the case for Kelly.
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, August 23 and Wednesday, August 25 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
