Brooke Vincent has talked about her return to Coronation Street following the birth of her second child.
The soap actress went on maternity leave in 2019 when she was expecting her first son Mexx.
During her maternity leave, she announced that she and partner Kean Bryan were expecting a second baby, meaning she wouldn't be returning to her role as Sophie Webster for at least two years.
Speaking to OK! Magazine following the birth of second son Monroe, she said: "I love Corrie and it will always be my home, but it’s a very demanding job and quite restrictive as you have to be based near Manchester.
"I’ve been doing it since age 11 and that’s been my priority, but now I have the boys they’re my priority.
"Maybe when they get to a certain age – if they’ll have me back that is – I’ll be saying, 'Please give me my job back!'"

At the time, a spokesperson for the soap said the possibility for Brooke to return would always be there.
"There was never a fixed return date for Brooke, and there is no pressure for her to return within any particular time frame," she said.
"The door has been left open for her at any point in the future, whenever that might be."
Brooke also spoke about her fellow Corrie co-star Helen Flanagan who played on-screen sister Rosie Webster.
Helen also gave birth to a baby boy recently, her third child who she named Charlie.
"Now she’s got three I don’t know how the heck she is doing it," Brooke said.
"I’ve got two and I’ve not even washed my hair! We’ve both had boys which is lovely and we’ll meet up when we can."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7.30pm on ITV.
