With time running out for Oliver, Steve flies out to Germany to persuade the medics to change their mind about treating him. But it's not the outcome he was hoping for when Dr Schmitz confirms there's nothing more that can be done for the lad.

Back on the cobbles, Natasha's journalist mate Suki approaches Leanne, offering to tell their story to the Gazette in a bid to boost the fundraising campaign. Leanne agrees to the interview, but is unable to contain her fury when Suki insensitively refers to Oliver's death as inevitable and imminent.

Feeling guilty for creating further heartache for the family, Natasha tries to make things right by offering a £20,000 donation to Oliver's fund, but Nick decides to keep it quiet from Leanne. That turns out to be a huge mistake, and when Natasha lets slip about the money, Leanne's livid and accuses Nick of giving up on Oliver.

With Germany a no-go, Leanne insists they need to use Natasha's cash to fund the court case, but Nick privately admits to Gail he fears they're losing a fighting battle.
