Coronation Street's Johnny Connor gets blackmailed next week as Scott Emberton finally uses his past against him.
Johnny (Richard Hawley) lives to regret his actions after tipping off Ray Crosby that Scott is not to be trusted.
The drama begins when Scott (Tom Roberts) reveals that Ray has offered him another job working on some property.
Johnny wants to sabotage this as he's fed up with Scott hanging around, so he warns Ray (Mark Frost) that Scott has been in prison and is not someone to be relied on.

Later, Ray informs Scott that he no longer wants him involved after Johnny filled him in about his background.
Scott is furious and decides that Johnny owes him big time, so will need to repay him by getting involved in a criminal job.
Johnny desperately tries to object to this, but Scott refuses to take no for an answer.
The pub landlord's ordeal only gets worse when Scott reveals that he'll need to drive the getaway car for the job. If Johnny doesn't agree, Scott will tell Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) all about his criminal past.
In the days that follow, Johnny tries to avoid the situation altogether by keeping his distance from Scott.
Scott isn't impressed and soon corners Johnny – reminding him that Jenny will hear all about his secrets unless he starts cooperating.
Will Johnny find himself drawn into criminal activity as a result?
