Coronation Street's Tim Metcalfe finally saw his dad Geoff's true nature tonight (September 9), after he and Sally went through his laptop and discovered incriminating evidence.
Sally previously snooped around Geoff and Yasmeen's house to get his laptop, hoping to prove that he'd been sending threatening emails to his former partner Elaine Jones, or find some CCTV footage.
At first, they didn't find anything, causing Tim and Sally to argue over whether Geoff really was abusive. Faye Windass then turned up and managed to find a video with a terrified Yasmeen being shouted at and belittled after the magic show.

Faye instantly realised Geoff's true nature, but it took another talk from Sally for Tim to reluctantly accept it. He let Sally and Faye take the laptop to the police, but couldn't bring himself to go with them.
Geoff then came round to Tim's house for his laptop, where his son confronted him, stating: "That man in the video, that bully... that's you."

In typical Geoff fashion, he tried to claim it was a one-off outburst and attempted to turn the tables on Tim by saying he'd probably do the same to Sally.

"I would never, ever shove my phone in her face and film her," Tim furiously responded, before listing all the odd things that finally made sense to him: Yasmeen flinching at his touch, why Geoff burned her clothes rather than donated them, and the red dress she looked very uncomfortable in.
As Tim tried to get Geoff to finally admit the truth, the police came to the house to take Geoff in. Is this finally going to be his comeuppance?
Coronation Street is currently airing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
