Coronation Street's Adam Barlow will discover Daniel Osbourne's dark secret next week.
Daniel (Rob Mallard) has been relying on escort Nicky's company as he grieves for his late wife Sinead, who passed away last year.
However, Daniel's meetings with Nicky recently took an uncomfortable turn when he handed her Sinead's cardigan to wear during an evening in.
Although Nicky went along with it, she has started to fear that Daniel's erratic behaviour is going too far and suggested that he confide in his family and friends rather than wasting all of his money on her.
Alternatively, Nicky suggested that Daniel try another escort, as she'll be busier in the next few days anyway.

Taking her advice, Daniel contacted Cherry in last night's episode, but will turn back to Nicky after failing to connect with her friend.
Daniel offers Nicky, who is with another client, double the money in order to continue with their meetings. Unfortunately, the situation ends up getting out of hand and Nicky is arrested, leaving Daniel panic-stricken over what to do next.
Worried, Daniel calls at the office and asks Adam to get himself down to the police station – explaining that his friend Nicky was involved in a fracas at the Bistro and needs representation.
Adam calls at the police station but is confused to discover that Nicky was released without charge.
As Adam questions who Nicky is, she's touched when Daniel explains that she helps with his grief for Sinead.
Wanting to make amends for the incident in the Bistro, Daniel apologises to Ray for causing a scene and calls Nicky, hoping they can continue to meet on a genuine friendship basis.
But with Adam now suspicious, Daniel is forced to admit that he's been paying Nicky to dress up as Sinead so he could pretend she's still alive. He does, however, insist that they are only going to progress as friends from now on.
Concerned and unconvinced, Adam intercepts Nicky outside the flat as she's on her way in to meet Daniel.
Handing her cash, Adam tells Nicky to stay away from Daniel, but will she do as he says?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, August 31, Wednesday, September 2 and Friday, September 4 on ITV.
