Coronation Street's Alexandra Mardell has decided to brighten up her life with the help of some hair dye.
The actress, who plays Emma Brooker in the ITV soap, took to Instagram on Saturday (April 11) to reveal her purple hair transformation.
To compliment the colourful new look, Alexandra also wore a bright yellow dress.
Her friends, fans and co-stars soon took to the comments to compliment her seemingly LA Lakers-inspired getup.
Tina O'Brien, who plays Sarah Platt on Corrie, simply wrote "Amazing," while Sally Ann Matthews, who plays Jenny Bradley, added: "Wowzers!"
Former Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley also chimed in: "I love it!"

Alexandra is clearly finding ways to keep herself entertained during this period of lockdown. Just last week, she revealed a braided hairstyle in another beaming selfie.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how much you like hair transformation updates), Alexandra will have enough time to go through quite a few hairstyles and bottles of dye before she and her fellow soap actors can start filming again.
In March, filming was suspended on a number of shows, including both Corrie and Emmerdale.
With both soaps airing just three episodes a week, Digital Spy has learned that events such as Easter will take place on-screen at a different time.
The changes to the soaps' schedules will ensure they can both stay on air as long as possible during this global crisis.
Coronation Street currently airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
