Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon has revealed her hair transformation ahead of her character Bethany Platt's upcoming on-screen exit from the soap.
Actress Lucy is no stranger to the odd transformation or two, having recently gone all out on her birthday as she dressed up as Lady Marmalade-era Christina Aguilera.
And now, just over a month after the star revealed that she had filmed her final scenes on the ITV soap, Lucy has unveiled another new look as she prepares to leave Bethany Platt behind her – and this time, it's more of a permanent change too.

After documenting parts of the transformation on her Instagram Stories on Thursday (February 20), the actress later shared a photo of her new longer locks in an Instagram post.
"AND I'M LONG!" she captioned the pictures, before adding: "It's not all my hair... but don't tell anyone."

Lucy has added longer extensions and lightened her hair to more of a white blonde, and she wasted no time in thanking hairdresser James Lear for the new look as she wrote: "Thank you @jameslearhairdressing for creating this... I love it!"

It comes as the soap prepares to say goodbye to Bethany as Lucy Fallon has quit the role after five years.
Next week's episodes will see Bethany tell her mother Sarah (Tina O'Brien) that she's been offered an internship at a magazine in London, but is unsure about leaving Daniel (Rob Mallard) now that they've gone public with their relationship. Will Bethany take her mother's advice and put her career first?
Either way, there's still another Platt wedding to enjoy before Bethany leaves our screens for good, and we're sure there'll be plenty of drama ahead to enjoy while we still can.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
