Coronation Street's Bethany Platt is rejected by Daniel Osbourne next week after they've shared a kiss.
New spoilers have revealed the aftermath of Bethany and Daniel sharing another romantic moment in this Friday's double bill of episodes (January 31).
When Daniel wakes up on the sofa to find Bethany asleep beside him, still in his late wife Sinead's dressing gown, he feels uneasy and regretful about kissing her.
Later on, Bethany confides in her mum Sarah (Tina O'Brien) about how she spent the night at Daniel's flat.

Clearly concerned, Sarah warns Bethany to tread very carefully as it's obvious that Daniel is still grieving for Sinead.

It turns out that Sarah was right to have her doubts, as Daniel later lets Bethany down gently by explaining that he's not ready for a relationship yet.
Bethany promises Daniel that she's prepared to wait, but even this may be setting herself up for future heartbreak.
Corrie fans know that Bethany is leaving the ITV soap in the coming weeks and that Lucy Fallon has already filmed her final scenes.

Bethany's departure is expected to partly tie in with the ongoing storyline involving her connection to Daniel.
When the kiss scenes air this Friday, Bethany puts on Sinead's dressing gown after getting caught up in rain outside. Daniel sees her and briefly thinks that she's Sinead.
Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel, recently explained: "Daniel has just woken up again, so he is a little bit out of it and he has probably been dreaming about Sinead.
"Bethany is wearing Sinead's dressing gown and he is shocked. He thinks he sees Sinead and it's too good to be true. He thinks: 'Has her death and the aftermath just been a dream?'
"But then reality hits. Daniel knows he is kissing Bethany, but he is allowing his mind to trick himself and have these moments."
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, February 3 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
