Concern will be growing for Yasmeen Nazir on Coronation Street amid the Geoff Metcalfe coercive control storyline.
The pair recently returned from Las Vegas as newlyweds, though following a celebration back home with friends, a tiny hiccup led to a nasty altercation.
After guests left, Geoff accused Yasmeen of embarrassing him after guest Cathy Matthews encountered a crab shell in a canapé, retrieving the shell from the bin and suggesting she eat it.

In a new story synopsis, things will once again take a bad turn as Geoff has a dig at his wife's clothes and insists on taking her to town to buy her a new wardrobe. However, he turns furious when she suggests meeting Cathy in one of her new outfits.
Cathy later confides in Brian that she's worried about Yasmeen as she is always cancelling their dates and is obsessed with cleaning her house.
