Coronation Street's Steve was fuming over Ali's medical negligence after Emma was hospitalised on tonight's episode (November 1).
Maria, who was concerned about Emma's health, asked Ali to have a look at her as she arrived at work with a pain in her side. But Ali had other stuff on his mind and was distracted about Maria and Gary going out on a date later.
Ali told Emma that it must be some sort of food poisoning and sent her home to rest. Emma did what she was told and headed home, but later when Maria and Gary arrived at the flat, they were shocked to find Emma unconscious on the floor.

Maria and Gary immediately took Emma to the hospital and were told by a doctor that she had a ruptured appendix and needed emergency operation.
Steve, meanwhile, was shocked to hear that Ali had checked on Emma earlier and told her that her condition was just a food poisoning.
What to Read Next
