Katie McGlynn's final appearance on Coronation Street aired tonight (October 25) as her character Sinead Tinker tragically lost her battle with cancer.
Following last night's heartbreaking scenes, tonight's double bill saw Sinead urge Daniel to stop punishing himself over his kiss with Bethany Platt, leaving her husband moved that she was able to forgive him.

With her condition worsening and Dr Gaddas asserting that it was now too late for her to move to a hospice, Sinead realised it was time for her to start saying her final goodbyes.
Fading in and out of sleep, Sinead woke up to find her family gathered around her bed. Taking comfort in hearing her family bicker over inconsequential nonsense, she squeezed Daniel's hand, sensing that her time was coming to an end.
Sinead then passed away peacefully with Daniel and Bertie by her side.
