Coronation Street's Shona Ramsey piles pressure on Nick Tilsley next week as David Platt's future remains uncertain.
Shona (Julia Goulding) struggles to cope as she hears that David is facing an accusation of attempted murder after Josh Tucker's mystery stabbing.
Ahead of David (Jack P Shepherd) appearing in court, Shona is in a difficult position as she wonders what his latest catastrophe will mean for their wedding plans.
After taking a call from the venue, Shona tells David's mum Gail and sister Sarah that the final balance of money is due that day.

Sadly, there's no guarantee that David will be released from prison in time, leaving Shona unsure whether she should pay up or not.

Later that day, the Platts receive the news that David has been formally charged with attempted murder.
It's at this point that Shona turns to Nick (Ben Price) for support, telling him that it's time he buried the hatchet and started taking steps to help his brother get out of this mess.
A few days later, the bad news keeps coming for the Platts as they hear that David is staying behind bars until he faces trial.

With Josh claiming that David was his attacker, and David receiving sinister threats from his fellow prisoners, things aren't looking good for him.
