Coronation Street continues to hint at newcomer Jade Rowan's ulterior motive next week.
Jade, who was Hope's teaching assistant in Birmingham, has recently moved to Weatherfield to help Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) with her troublesome daughter.
Next week's episodes see Jade (Lottie Henshall) left with more responsibility after Fiz has to leave unexpectedly. Fiz travels away from the cobbles to visit her mum Cilla, who is in hospital after suffering an accident.
In Fiz's absence, Jade is quick to make herself indispensable by cooking an impressive meal for the family.

Jade also shows her caring side by handing Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) a dart board as a surprise gift, much to his delight. Even Evelyn seems impressed by challenging them both to a game – is Jade managing to reel everyone in?

Later in the week, Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) decides to play matchmaker for Jade by suggesting that Michael Bailey should take her for a drink. Jade immediately declines, insisting that she's too tired.
Not giving up so easily, Evelyn soon makes a second attempt after wheeler-dealer Michael (Ryan Russell) lets Hope try out a collection of bouncy castles that he has bought.

Evelyn reckons Jade should take Michael for a drink to thank him for giving Hope such a lovely afternoon, and although she initially agrees, she later feigns illness to get out of it.
Is it the case that Jade simply isn't interested in Michael, or is there another reason that she wants to focus her efforts entirely on life at Number 9? With fans already suspicious over Jade and her shifty behaviour, she's certainly one to watch in the coming weeks.
