Coronation Street's Gail Rodwell will try to bring her fractured family back together next week.
Gail (Helen Worth) is about to return to Weatherfield with a whole new attitude after taking time to reflect on her extended trip to Thailand.
Top of Gail's priority list is offering support to Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding), who has been struggling with the pressure of raising the kids with Gail away and David in prison.
In touching scenes, Gail reassures Shona that she thinks of her as a second daughter and will do everything she can to ease the burden.

Coronation Street fans will see Gail return in this Friday's hour-long episode (October 25), defending Bethany as she faces a backlash for kissing Daniel Osbourne.
Show producer Iain MacLeod recently confirmed that plans for Gail's return were changed during the storylining process.
Asked why Gail has a whole new zen-like attitude when she comes back, MacLeod laughed: "Less has happened to her than had originally happened in some versions of the story, where she came back fully meditative and doing yogic flying and the like!
"She's still the Gail that viewers will recognise, but she's a little more grounded and more mother earth.
"I found the scenes coming up between Gail and Bethany really moving, actually. She's still the Gail we know and love, but there might be a few more harem pants in her wardrobe and a few more coiffure choices."

On whether Gail has been enjoying a holiday romance, he said: "No. There was originally a story on the table where she did, but we moved away from that in the end, just because we don't want Gail to get together with another serial killer! And if we were going to do it, we'd want to do it on screen rather than off screen!
"So no, she hasn't. She's just had a zen-like epiphany. But it won't turn into a pastiche of a hippy lifestyle – she's still Gail."
Coronation Street airs these scenes next week on ITV.
