Coronation Street's Daniel Osbourne gets caught out by his father Ken Barlow tonight (October 21) as he cheats on his dying wife Sinead.
Daniel makes a terrible mistake in this evening's double bill, seeking comfort from Bethany Platt after a difficult day at home.
Monday's episodes see Kirk, Beth and Craig surprise Sinead with an early Christmas, knowing that she won't be around for the real day.
Daniel is immediately concerned over the idea, worrying that Sinead is too weak to cope with such a busy day. Sinead insists otherwise, praising it as a fantastic move.

Later on, Daniel, Sinead, Ken, Tracy, Beth, Kirk and Craig all sit down for Christmas lunch.

Daniel's betrayal will have significant consequences as this week plays out, casting a shadow over Sinead's final days on the cobbles.
Coronation Street's producer Iain MacLeod recently revealed this plot will run for a while, telling us: "The story has got legs and it's emotionally complex. Bethany certainly thinks she's in love with Daniel.
"But as Audrey says to her next week, to what degree does she love Daniel and to what degree does she love this romantic Byronic figure, who's crying on a windswept moor because he's lost his wife?
"Is Bethany in love with that fantasy Daniel, or the real man? Does she even know the real man?"
Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
