Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has hinted that David Platt could return to his dark ways in the future.
The character was handed a four-month sentence in Friday's (July 12) episode of the ITV soap for his brother Nick's crime of stealing grandmother Audrey's money.
However, hinting at what may be to come, Jack told The Sun: "That's the beauty of it with the Platts. They can all switch and go a bit psycho one minute then vulnerable and emotional and funny. It works each way for all the characters."
David does have a history of nearly killing people, though could the prison sentence push him over the edge? We shall have to wait and see.
David's sentence will prevent him from marrying Shona in August as planned, and Jack admitted that a big wedding will probably not be on the cards when he does eventually get out.
"I would like a massive one but know [I] probably won't get it because they haven't go any money for one thing now, given barbers to gran they are strapped for cash," he added. "I imagine it will be a registrar down [the] townhall or in the Bistro."
