Coronation Street's Sarah Platt will be left fearful when she realises her mum Gail Rodwell is missing tonight (July 8).
Gail (Helen Worth) will do a mysterious disappearing act from the Cobbles in the wake of last week's drama involving her sons Nick and David.
Friday's hour-long episode saw Gail's family problems escalate after she tried to call a family meeting to deal with the tensions once and for all.
When things spiralled out of control, Nick and David were both arrested for breaching their bail conditions and Gail was left devastated that she'd made everything worse.
With Nick and David now being kept in prison as a result, the Platts will be forced to deal with the continued fallout throughout the week.
As family tensions remain higher than ever, Monday's scenes will see Audrey behave coldly towards Gail after she abandoned her in the hospital.

Gail then faces further upset when Nick blames her for an incident in prison and tells her to stay away.
Later, Sarah grows concerned when there's suddenly no sign of Gail. Where is she? And could she have done a runner to escape all the bickering?
Fans will have to wait and see, but this story is ultimately paving the way for Sarah to call the police when Gail fails to return later in the week.
Coronation Street airs these scenes tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
