Coronation Street's Sarah Platt turns detective later this year, as she realises that her partner Gary Windass is up to no good.
Tina O'Brien and Mikey North have been spotted filming on location this week for scenes which hint at more trouble in Sarah and Gary's relationship.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Gary will start working as a debt collector for dangerous loan shark Rick Neelan, who's returning to the show after nearly seven years away.
Gary, who's been desperate for cash recently, starts doing Rick's dirty work for him in upcoming episodes – but it may only be a matter of time before Sarah catches him out.
The new paparazzi photographs above show Sarah secretly following Gary as he goes on his debt collecting rounds.
A grim-faced Sarah doesn't seem too impressed by Gary's behaviour, but how much will she discover about what he's up to?
What to Read Next
Former Hollyoaks star Greg Wood is reprising his role as Rick for the new storyline. His troublesome character previously terrorised Joe McIntyre, Tina McIntyre and Tommy Duckworth – not to mention kidnapping Rita Tanner on her wedding day.
Gary's dodgy job is also sure to fuel suspicion that he could be the mystery new villain who'll be ruining lives on the cobbles this year, including by causing the Underworld roof collapse.
Show boss Iain MacLeod teased last year: "What I have always liked about Corrie is the ability to have villains like Hillman and Phelan who come in and burn bright and also the more complicated, long range villain like Mike Baldwin – ruthless, self serving and looking out for number one.
"We're designing a character in that latter type who can stay long term as an antagonistic person who's just messing up lives."
Coronation Street continues tomorrow (March 1) at 7.30pm on ITV.
