Coronation Street's David Platt has a destructive outburst next week as he senses that his partner Shona Ramsey is keeping secrets from him.
David and Shona's relationship is about to come under serious threat thanks to the big return storyline for killer Clayton Hibbs, which begins on screen tomorrow.
There's trouble ahead for Shona (Julia Goulding) when Clayton begs her to smuggle drugs inside the jail to satisfy the demands of fellow prisoners who are bullying him.
When Shona is hesitant over the idea, she soon has to pay the price as a mystery intruder breaks into the Platt house and films her and David (Jack P Shepherd) while they sleep.
Shona is horrified when she finds a DVD on the doormat which contains the creepy footage – and Clayton later warns that the prison bullies were behind it.
Things get even worse when Shona is cornered by two thugs in the barber shop who make their demands in person.
What to Read Next
Nick (Ben Price) walks in on the scary encounter and later follows Shona. Intrigued to see her take a parcel from the two guys, he confronts her and asks what's going on.
When news later reaches the cobbles that Clayton has been beaten up in prison, David starts smashing mirrors in a rage. He then corners Nick in the barber shop, demanding to know what Shona is hiding from him.
Shona is reluctant to confide in her partner because they have a pact not to discuss Clayton, who killed David's wife Kylie in 2016.
Despite her best efforts to keep him in the dark, will David find out about Shona's drugs drama? Is there a chance that Clayton could ruin their relationship from afar?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, February 13 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
