Coronation Street provided some crafty lying tonight (January 30) as Tracy Barlow and husband Steve attempted to trick Tyler's mum Vicky into thinking Amy had aborted the baby.
Last week came the bombshell about Tyler and Amy, but now the latter's parents are devising all sorts of ways to prevent the baby's dad from being involved in the pregnancy.
However, their plan tonight wasn't exactly successful as Vicky foiled it fairly quickly.
After being informed about the 'abortion', Vicky came across Amy in the urban garden and told her she did the right thing. Baffled by this, Amy cleared things up and Vicky, naturally, confronted Tracy and Steve about their lie.
Meanwhile, Amy's troubled parents discussed the notion of moving away with their pregnant daughter and starting a new life... in Kent, of all places.
Embarrassed by their lie, the pair then basically ended up threatening Tyler's infuriated mum, saying that as long as her gang member son stayed away from their daughter – they won't report him for rape.
