Casualty spoilers follow.
Casualty is set to air a devastating story for Rash Masum as he struggles to deal with his father's dementia diagnosis.
Rash's father, Ashok, was diagnosed with vascular dementia earlier in the year, with nurse Rida Amaan stepping in to help Rash care for his father while he continues working at the ED.
In scenes set to air this Saturday (February 17) on BBC One, Rash will be left devastated when Ashok is brought into the ED after going missing.
Rash takes the day off from work to take his father to watch the cricket. However, Rida arrives to find Rash frustrated after Ashok locks himself in the bathroom and calls his son useless.

Rida reassures Rash that it's the illness talking, not his dad, and it's not his actual thoughts. However, the comments get to Rash, leading him to change his mind and go into the ED to catch up on work.
Arriving at the hospital, Rash throws himself into work despite Paige urging him to return home and spend time with his father.
Things soon get worse for Rash after he begins treating a patient named Wyatt, who has been vomiting and has a fever. Rash soon suspects the patient to be suffering from ebola, leading to Rash — and the entire resus area — to be quarantined.
Back at Rash's house, Rida prepares to take Ashok to the cricket but is left horrified to discover the door open and no sign of Ashok in the house.

Later, Rash is left questioning his abilities again after Wyatt stabilises, making Rash think he misdiagnosed the patient.
Meanwhile, Rida arrives at the ED to share the news of Ashok's disappearance with Rash, unaware he has been placed in quarantine. To Rida's shock, a patient fitting Ashok's description is brought in.
Devastated, Rida breaks the news to Rash, who rushes to be by his father's side once the quarantine is lifted.
But will he make it in time?
Casualty airs on Saturdays on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
