Casualty spoilers follow.
Casualty is set to deliver some life-changing news for more than one of its staff members at Holby City Hospital when it returns this Saturday (July 16) for a dramatic extended episode.
After their surrogacy heartbreak earlier this year, on-off couple Adi Kapadia and Marty Kirby brace themselves for another setback in their journey to become parents when Robyn Miller tells them that she can't be their surrogate.
Robyn's decision comes after Adi's previous surrogate Jessica tragically lost her unborn baby back in April.
Although Robyn is tempted by Adi and Marty's offer of free accommodation as part of the surrogacy arrangement, she admits that she has to prioritise her daughter Charlotte, leaving them disappointed.

Meanwhile, as Paul gears up to declare his love for Robyn, his feelings falter when he begins to question her decision to even contemplate giving away a child.
Later, feeling guilty about their argument, Paul apologises to Robyn for dealing so badly with the surrogacy, and decides to admit how he feels about her.
A defiant Robyn makes it clear that she and Charlotte need someone who will be there for them no matter what.
