EastEnders has confirmed that Cindy Beale’s secrets are set to be revealed in a dramatic Christmas Day episode next month.
Cindy has had quite an eventful year, with the first half of 2024 seeing her attempt to win back her ex-husband George Knight, after the pair shared a kiss.
Elaine found out about her fiancé’s betrayal, but the couple eventually moved past this, making plans for their wedding. But Cindy had already moved on herself, as she then embarked on an affair with George’s son Junior, behind her partner Ian’s back.

In recent weeks, Cindy ended her affair with Junior and got engaged to Ian, as well as revealing to David Wicks that it was George she truly loved – and she even thought about him when she was in bed with Junior.

The BBC soap’s exciting new festive preview reads: "Secrets and lies are set to throw a wrecking ball into the Beale family festivities this year, as the shocking truth about Cindy will be revealed in spectacular fashion on Christmas Day.
"The incriminating evidence captured on tape will expose Cindy’s true love for ex-husband George and her scandalous affair with his son, Junior.
"Cindy has nowhere to hide as all hell breaks loose in the Beale and Knight families, with fury and accusations flying on all sides."

Meanwhile, Denise is keen to move on from the horrifying events that took place in The Vic 12 months ago. Sure enough, she will receive an unexpected present from an unlikely source and ends up enjoying a very different Christmas Day to last year. Who is putting a smile on her face?
Elsewhere, the festive season will stir up old feelings for some Walford residents, while for others, some "ghosts of Christmas past" will return, in a mysterious teaser.
Could we see some familiar faces in Albert Square this Christmas?
