Coronation Street's Brooke Vincent is setting the record straight over speculation that she'll soon be tying the knot with boyfriend Kean Bryan.
The 25-year-old soap star sparked speculation that she'd got engaged to Oldham Athletic footballer Kean, 21, when she appeared to be sporting a blinged-out ring in a festive New Year Instagram photo.
While the pair remain in a committed relationship, Brooke Vincent tells OK! Magazine this week that wedding bells aren't ringing for herself and Kean quite yet.
"We're not engaged," she insisted. "Kean took a picture of us on selfie mode so it looked like I had a ring on my left hand, but it was on my right. It's a ring my mum gave me for Christmas, nothing more!"
Brooke touched on the dynamic within their relationship as well, explaining that their "polar opposite" personalities are what she finds most attractive about Kean.
"Kean is very quiet whereas I don't stop talking," she joked. "I appreciate Kean so much. We have a huge amount of respect for each other so there's never been a moment of insecurity for either of us."
