Good on, Sharon Osbourne! She made a brave return to her US chat show The Talk on Wednesday (March 22) after suffering a serious back injury which left her unable to walk.

Mrs O was out of action for six whole weeks due to her worrying health scare and she had to undergo emergency back surgery.

As the audience gave her a standing ovation (awww), Sharon explained exactly what happened and how she managed to recover.

"I was at home, I was playing with my granddaughters," she said. "I was on the floor with them playing with toys and I got up. And as I got up from the floor... I felt this big twist in my back at the base of my spine and I didn't think anything of it and then that night, it was really, really hurting.

"I thought it was because I put weight on again because when I put weight on, I get back pain, and I'm like, 'I've got to go on a diet,' and the next day, I couldn't walk. What had happened was I had done my L-3 and L-4 discs damage and the L-3 had kind of mushed up but it entangled around a nerve.

"So it was pressing on this nerve on my back that affected my legs [and] I couldn't walk properly."

Sharon added: "They tried to do it with an epidural to ease the pain and that didn't do any good. So I had to go in and have surgery. And I've been in bed doing nothing.

"My life has just been like nothing, and this is the best medicine I could ever have!"

Don't forget - it looks like we'll see more of Shazza in the UK if reports she's signed up for another series on The X Factor judging panel are to be believed.

Just take care in the meantime, Mrs O!
