Idris Elba will be making his way to Standon Calling this summer, to deliver a DJ set that "spans across genres, styles and generations".

The festival, which takes place near the village of Standon in Hertfordshire, announced the Luther star alongside a load of other big names including Editors, KT Tunstall, Doc Brown, Kate Tempest and Lindstrom.

Previously announced acts include headliners Clean Bandit and Orbital, plus Slaves, Laura Mvula, Gary Numand and British Sea Power, and DJ sets from Faithless and Joe Goddard of Hot Chip. A "very special Sunday night headliner" is yet to be announced, while the full current lineup can be found here.

The festival will be Elba's first major DJ gig since he opened for Madonna on the German leg of her Rebel Hearts World Tour in 2015 - although he was initially booked to play a DJ set at Glastonbury in 2016.
