John Mayer busts some moves with pandas in his surreal new music video for 'Still Feel Like Your Man'.

The track, which he recently confirmed was written about his ex Katy Perry, is taken from his upcoming seventh album The Search for Everything, due out next Friday (April 14).

Unveiling the video on Twitter, John joked that this was one for his followers, quipping: "Fans have asked me for *years*, 'John Mayer, when are you going to dance in a music video?' I did this for them."

Directed by Mister Whitmore, the video sees John dance in a "disco dojo" alongside pandas and butterflies, and he recently said he expected a backlash to the video.

"Do I think that someone is going to tweet that this is cultural appropriation? Yes," he told The New York Times.

"Part of cultural appropriation is blindness. I'm on the right side of the line because it's an idea for the video that has a very multi-ethnic casting, and nobody who is white or non-Asian is playing an Asian person."

The same interview also saw him confess that he still thinks about his ex Katy.

"It's a testament to the fact that I have not dated a lot of people in the last five, six years. That was my only relationship. So it's like, 'Give me this, people'," John explained.

The Search for Everything is out on April 14.
