Forget Game of Thrones: the biggest battle of this year is taking place in the UK's singles chart, as all five One Direction members are set to go for chart glory.

Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik will all face off in the charts over the next few months, as they each drop their next solo singles.

Zayn kicked off proceedings with his Party Next Door collaboration 'Still Got Time' when it was released last week, and charted at No. 24 in the UK Top 40.

Next up is the much-anticipated solo debut from Harry Styles, who's just dropped his first single 'Sign of the Times' today.

And, no pressure Harry, but we're already expecting it to reach chart-topping highs.

But it doesn't end there for the new 1D music, as The Sun reports that after Harry's first solo outing receives its big debut, Niall is expected to follow up his debut single 'This Town' with his second single next month.

Attention will then turn to Louis Tomlinson as he'll be hoping to follow up the success of his first single, dance track 'Just Hold On' with Steve Aoki', which charted at No.2 after Louis debuted the track on The X Factor back in December.

The Sun's report suggests he could be lining up a new track for release in June.

Finally, it will be down to Liam Payne to impress in the charts. While we've yet to hear anything much from Liam in the studio beyond the odd snippet, he's been sharing updates about new music for a while now.

Although, we imagine that might all take a step back for a bit now that Liam has recently become a new dad after welcoming a baby boy with girlfriend Cheryl.

Even so, when we do get new music from him – which will also apparently be in June, so mark your calendars now – we're expecting it to be less 1D-pop and more of an urban take.

Here's a little sneak peak at a song that Liam shared, if you're interested. (At the time, he wrote: "Just finished a busy day in the studio. May not be a song I release but wanted to invite you into the writing process – hope you enjoyed it.")

Digital Spy has reached out to Niall, Louis and Liam's reps for comments on their rumoured release schedules.

Either way, it looks like One Direction could soon be dominating the charts all over again.
