Beyoncé has reminded us all once again why she's the ultimate Queen. (Sorry, Your Majesty.)

The singer's shock pregnancy announcement on Instagram has become the most liked picture on the site EVER, beating Selena Gomez's record.

The 'Formation' singer has racked up over 7.3 million likes (at the time of writing), more than previous record holder Selena's 6.3 million for her now-iconic Coca-Cola ad.

All the more impressive considering it was only posted YESTERDAY (February 1) - blimey!

Queen Bey sent social media into meltdown last night with her announcement that she's welcoming twins into the world.

She wrote: "We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes."

The twins will be Beyoncé and Jay Z's second and third children after Blue Ivy, who was born back in 2012.

Last year after the star released her acclaimed - and nine-time Grammy nominated - sixth album Lemonade, which many interpreted to be about allegations of infidelity against Jay Z.

"If you really listen to the poetry, it is one of hope and redemption and hopefully that can be healing for people."
