Sam Smith had a night of real highs and lows at this year's Oscars - and he's now branded his live performance "the worst moment of [his] life".
The 'Writing's on the Wall' singer won the award for Best Original Song during the ceremony, but definitely didn't enjoy performing the Spectre track live.
Speaking to BBC News, Smith said: "That was honestly the worst moment of my life. Singing was horrible - I hated every moment of it.
"I was so nervous. That's the truth. I want to say to everyone at home, we love you."
Discussing the moment he won the award, Smith said: "I genuinely didn't think we were going to win at all. We're in complete shock. The whole thing's just amazing."
But that's not the half of it, as Smith caused controversy when he accepted his accolade by asserting that "no openly gay man had won an Oscar".
