Prime Video's upcoming revenge thriller The Bluff has landed an action-packed trailer. The new movie stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas as an ex-pirate who is targeted by her former captain, and fights back against his crew while trying to protect her family.
The preview of the "epic" and "gritty" movie sees her character Ercell 'Bloody Mary' Bodden ambushed by the pirates in her beach home, hiding her daughter in the process. However, she uses her wits and fighting talents to violently fight back.
Ercell heads into the forest with her children, continuing to epically face off against the assailants, while the clip teases a climactic battle with captain Connor (Karl Urban).
"This only ends with the sand soaked in his blood or mine," she declares.
Directed and co-written by Bob Marley: One Love's Frank E Flowers, The Bluff sees Ercell's world "torn apart" by the arrival of Connor, having thought she had escaped her past as a pirate, and she is "forced to confront the demons she’s tried to bury".
