Training Day director Antoine Fuqua is in line for three new projects.

20th Century Fox has offered him the Ridley Scott-produced thriller Narco Sub, while MGM wants him for its remake of The Magnificent Seven, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sony Pictures has also offered Fuqua the sequel to his upcoming thriller The Equalizer - a remake of the 1980s television show.

Narco Sub centres around a crime lord who forces a disgraced naval officer to use a submarine to smuggle cocaine.

True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto is working on the Magnificent Seven remake, with Brad Pitt rumoured to star.

Fuqua is expected to move onto one of the projects after he wraps Southpaw.

The Equalizer stars Denzel Washington, and will arrive in cinemas on September 26. Watch a trailer for the film below:
