You would think that creepy clowns would be too scary for most kids; after all, that spate of scary clown sightings reportedly caused some clowns to lose work.

But teenager Eagan Tilghman leaned, hard, into the upcoming film adaption of Stephen King's IT, in a delightful way: by dressing his three-year-old brother Louie as the story's killer clown, Pennywise. The results are honestly incredible:

For the record, when Louie's not in clown make-up and costume, he looks like this:

It appears that this isn't Eagan's first cosplay rodeo; the 17-year-old from Mississippi told Mashable that this IT costume was actually inspired by a design he did for another sibling.

"It all started because my other brother, Hosea, who is four, wanted me to paint his face like the Joker," he said. "I did and we just had the idea to dress Louie up and take a few pictures."
