A new culinary thriller starring Julia Garner and Heated Rivalry's Hudson Williams has started filming. Written and directed by David Weil, Tyrant has been described as a "high-stakes" movie set in the world of fine dining.
The star-studded film also stars Charlize Theron, who also serves as producer, as well as Demi Moore and The Capture's Paapa Essiedu among others, and is based on a story by Weil and Cody Behan.
In pictures obtained by Digital Spy, Garner has been spotted on set as the thriller has started shooting. The Ozark star rocks her usual short, blonde hairdo and a casual outfit, including leather jacket, blue jeans and boots, as she strolls down the street.

While details about Tyrant are scarce at this stage, the film is said to be a fast-paced thriller in the vein of Wall Street and Whiplash set in New York City's elite dining scene.
Also starring are musician Omar Apollo and fashion and lifestyle creator Nara Smith.

Tyrant marks Weil's directorial feature debut. The director is best known for creating Prime Video series Hunters and Solos and co-creating spy thriller Citadel with Josh Appelbaum and Bryan Oh. Weil also co-created Apple TV's sci-fi series Invasion with Simon Kinberg.
Garner, recently seen in horror movies Weapons and Wolf Man, and Williams will also star together in upcoming Netflix series The Altruists, centred on the collapse of cryptocurrency exchange FTX. House of Guinness star Anthony Boyle plays FTX founder, Sam Bankman-Fried, while Garner portrays his business partner, Caroline Ellison.
The cast is rounded out by Alex Lawther, Matt Rife, Eugene Young, Madison Hu, Karan Soni, Naomi Okada, and Maddie Hasson.
The series is created by Graham Moore and Jacqueline Hoyt, who also serve as executive producers alongside Barack and Michelle Obama.
