Nowhere Special, a 2020 drama set in Northern Ireland starring Happy Valley, Grantchester and now House of the Dragon favourite James Norton, has just become available to stream for free in the UK.
The film follows John, a single parent to four-year-old Michael who discovers that he has a terminal illness.
Not only does he have to contend with his own mortality and the heartbreak of having to tell his young son that he's going to die, but he also needs to find someone suitable to look after the boy once he's gone.

Nowhere Special is one of those rare films that has maintained a perfect 100% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with all 64 of the collected critic reviews giving it a good score.
Deadline wrote that, in spite of the film's name, "Nowhere Special is something special indeed. If you aren't shedding well-earned tears by the end of this film you simply are not human."
"It had all the potential to be a weepy you'd avoid, but it's really quite sensitive, powerful, and beautifully acted," stated FilmWeek, while Variety opined that Norton and Lamont were "terrific leads".
