Steven Spielberg's alien epic sci-fi Disclosure Day isn't short of stars, featuring Josh O'Connor and Emily Blunt as the leads, but it's an actor appearing in a minor role in the third act of the film who almost steals the show - here's where you've seen her before.
Written by David Koepp and based on a story by Spielberg, Disclosure Day follows O'Connor's Daniel Kellner, a cybersecurity specialist who's threatening to release some secret government files confirming the existence of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and extraterrestrial life on Earth. Blunt stars as Kansas City TV weatherwoman Margaret Fairchild, who suddenly makes clicking noises on air and acquires the ability to read people's minds.
Daniel aims to make the documents connecting the Wardex Corporation, a secret division of the US government headed by Noah Scanlon (Colin Firth), to a cover-up of alien existence public on the titular Disclosure Day. During the climax of the movie, an unnamed character played by Courtney Grace acts as the audience's proxy as she reacts to the footage shown.

Grace plays the NBC anchorwoman who delivers the breaking news at the end of the film, keeping her composure on camera but occasionally reacting to the astonishing images being broadcast, adding a sense of authenticity to the tense epilogue.
As fans have been calling Grace's performance a "standout" on Instagram, the actor posted a picture with Spielberg and Koepp to reflect on her experience on Disclosure Day.
What to Read Next
"There are certain moments in life that feel almost impossible to put into words. This is one of them," Grace wrote in the caption.
"Steven Spielberg, thank you for your trust, your kindness, and for reminding us all that wonder and hope will always have a place in storytelling. To have been invited into this story is an honor I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
"@dgkoepp, from the moment I read *that* scene, your words grabbed hold of my soul and never let go. Thank you for that gift.
"And to everyone who has taken a moment of their day to reach out and express how this movie has impacted them… know that your words have moved me just as deeply and will remain with me for a very, very long time.
"With all the gratitude in my heart… thank you."

Before becoming an actor, Grace had a job which helped her nail her role in Spielberg's latest. The star, who has earned a growing fanbase after her appearance in Disclosure Day, used to work as a news reporter, producer and anchor and has often played journalists and TV news hosts in shows like Murdaugh: Death in the Family and Tulsa King, as well as Sydney Sweeney's boxing biopic Christy.
She also plays a nurse in an episode of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, as well as having a multi-episode arc in the fifth season of Netflix's Sweet Magnolias.
Disclosure Day is in cinemas now.
