Jennifer Lawrence is set to star in and produce a new romantic comedy whose script caused a massive bidding war earlier this year. One Month Mark, written by Sophie Fleur de Bruijn, carries the logline: "She has never made it past a month in a relationship. He has never gone longer than a month without one."
According to Variety, Lawrence will team with Apple Original Films for the project. The film will also be produced by Apple Studios, alongside Chernin Entertainment’s David Ready, Brady Fujikawa and Peter Chernin.
Lawrence and her producing partner Justine Ciarrocchi will also produce for Excellent Cadaver, with De Bruijn executive producing.

Last month, Chernin Entertainment won the right to produce One Month Mark alongside de Bruijn, after the spec script drew interest from a wide range of producers, studios, and streamers.
Deadline described the race to win the rights as an auction "unlike anything Hollywood had seen post-strike, not only because of the amount of producers chasing but also the secrecy going into it".

Several producers told the publication that One Month Mark was "one of the best rom-com scripts in years". This is the second script from de Bruijn after Early Action, which was acquired by Apple and The Walsh Company last May.
Meanwhile, Lawrence is set to reprise her role as Katniss Everdeen in the upcoming Hunger Games prequel Sunrise on the Reaping.

While little has been revealed about Lawrence's role, the actress teased in January that the new film will be worth the watch for fans of the original Hunger Games series.
The film boasts an ensemble cast which includes Joseph Zada, Jesse Plemons, Elle Fanning, Kieran Culkin, Maya Hawke, Glenn Close and Ralph Fiennes.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is scheduled to be released in cinemas on 20 November.
