Leo Woodall's new crime thriller Tuner has landed in the UK. The new movie sees the actor take on the role of piano tuner Niki White, who has a gift for heightened hearing.

His talents catch the attention of criminals, who see it as an opportunity to open safes, and he meets a range of characters across New York with his mentor Harry Horowitz (Dustin Hoffman). However, his criminal activities threaten a budding romance with composition student Ruthie (Havana Rose Liu).

Viewers in the UK and Ireland wanting to catch Tuner can now do so, as it is out now in cinemas.

"Daniel Roher’s thriller is as good as crime cinema gets, and one of 2026’s biggest surprises – and undisputed highlights," said The Daily Beast.

IndieWire further called it "a playful movie in form and content, one that rarely takes itself too seriously, and as such, it can’t help but skate by as a pleasurable ride".

"It’s marvelously witty and entertaining as it ping-pongs from a charming comedy to a breathless thriller to a sweet romance to a character-driven drama," Crooked Marquee wrote. "There’s something for everyone here, while it still remains marvelously specific."

The Guardian added: "An easy, unforced drama that mixes romcom moments with a relaxed crime thriller. It’s like the Safdie brothers in chill-out mode."

Tuner is out now in UK and Irish cinemas.
