From pulse-pounding kitchen tragedy Boiling Point to harrowing one-take series Adolescence and gang drama Peaky Blinders, Stephen Graham has starred in many a compelling tale for the small and big screens. Now, a high-rated 2015 Belfast-set thriller that stars him opposite Game of Thrones' Conleth Hill has found a new streaming home in the UK.
Directed by Michael Lennox (Derry Girls, Say Nothing), the movie A Patch of Fog stars Hill as celebrated, one-wonder author Sandy Duffy, now working as a university lecturer and talk show host.
When Sandy, who's developed a shoplifting habit, is caught on CCTV by a security guard, Robert Green (Graham), he's blackmailed into friendship. The bizarre bond between the two men turns increasingly disturbing, leading to deadly developments.
Penned by John Cairns and Michael McCartney, A Patch of Fog was screened at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival, where it received positive reviews.
